Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support the financial operations of a fast-paced semiconductor company. This role requires a strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory consolidation, and revenue recognition within a complex manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished accounting professional with over 5 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), revenue recognition, and general accounting. This individual is likely currently working as an Accountant within a high-technology, Semiconductor focused multinational organization and brings a proven track record of accurately performing and managing a variety of accounting transactions.

The successful candidate is a self-starter with strong work ethics and a hands-on approach, capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. They are results-driven, detail-focused, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth setting while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring full compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

  • Perform and oversee complex account reconciliations, proactively identifying discrepancies and driving timely resolution of issues.

  • Own and manage the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to tight deadlines.

  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments while ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness.

  • Analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, variances, and risks, and providing actionable insights to senior management.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive business performance.

  • Strengthen and streamline accounting processes, implementing best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.

  • Stay current with evolving accounting standards and regulatory changes, ensuring organizational compliance and readiness for audits.

  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules, documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within semiconductor, manufacturing, or hardware industries

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and hands-on experience across AP, AR, general ledger, and financial reporting

  • Solid expertise in cost accounting and inventory accounting within a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-starter with a hands-on, results-driven mindset and strong work ethic

  • CPA or CPA-track preferred
