Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support the financial operations of a fast-paced semiconductor company. This role requires a strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory consolidation, and revenue recognition within a complex manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished accounting professional with over 5 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), revenue recognition, and general accounting. This individual is likely currently working as an Accountant within a high-technology, Semiconductor focused multinational organization and brings a proven track record of accurately performing and managing a variety of accounting transactions.
The successful candidate is a self-starter with strong work ethics and a hands-on approach, capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. They are results-driven, detail-focused, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth setting while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring full compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
Perform and oversee complex account reconciliations, proactively identifying discrepancies and driving timely resolution of issues.
Own and manage the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to tight deadlines.
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments while ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness.
Analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, variances, and risks, and providing actionable insights to senior management.
Partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive business performance.
Strengthen and streamline accounting processes, implementing best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
Stay current with evolving accounting standards and regulatory changes, ensuring organizational compliance and readiness for audits.
Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules, documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within semiconductor, manufacturing, or hardware industries
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and hands-on experience across AP, AR, general ledger, and financial reporting
Solid expertise in cost accounting and inventory accounting within a manufacturing environment
Experience with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with a hands-on, results-driven mindset and strong work ethic
CPA or CPA-track preferred
