In 2022, he founded GSME, a cutting-edge company specializing in integrated circuit (IC) design and advanced manufacturing solutions, driving innovation in next-generation semiconductor technologies.  Under his guidance, GSME is poised to redefine the future of IC design and manufacturing, leveraging Farhat’s unparalleled experience to deliver breakthrough solutions in the global semiconductor landscape.

Landmark Achievements:

  • Played a pivotal role at Quantenna Communications, where his leadership contributed to the company’s successful IPO in 2016 and its eventual $1.1 billion acquisition by ON Semiconductor (Onsemi) in 2019.

  • Served as General Manager and VP of Manufacturing at Onsemi, overseeing large-scale operations and a $2B revenue stream at the state-of-the-art 300mm EFK fabrication facility (formerly GF/IBM).

 

Education:

A highly respected industry expert, Farhat holds an MSEE from the University of Arkansas and was honored with induction into the prestigious Arkansas Academy of Electrical Engineering in 2020 as a testament to his profound impact on semiconductor innovation and leadership.

Over 25 years of experience in SW development and optimization for semiconductor manufacturing, planning to improve productivity and efficiency by using BI and ML based manufacturing database. Ravi was instrumental in optimizing business operations, production planning over distributed manufacturing locations. Previously Ravi headed the manufacturing business unit at Quantenna Communications and achieved 99% on time delivery and consistent QoQ cost reductions.

Vivek Prasad brings to GSME more than 30 years of microelectronics engineering and broader industry experience, leading product strategy, customer engagement, and business development. His technical expertise spans pre-silicon validation, pre-silicon software readiness, chip architecture, AI-enhanced workflows, emulation, and scalable platforms.

Most recently, Prasad served as Vice President & General Manager at Intel, where he was responsible for defining and implementing system-level pre-silicon validation strategy for majority of Intel products. Prasad also managed the test board, test chips, and associated lab infrastructure for streamlined prototyping of new IPs and sub-systems.

Over 40 years of semiconductor leadership and a hallmark figure in Vietnam’s semiconductor industry. Known for building global teams and delivering advanced-node products, driving business growth. He founded Silicon Design Solutions in 1997, which was acquired by eSilicon in 2010, where he led major IP and engineering organizations at eSilicon. He oversaw product strategy, engineering execution, and customer delivery. He also served as SVP and GM and Uniquify and serves as a Sr. advisor to Marvell. DuyTan holds a BSEE from University of California, Berkeley and a Exec. MBA from University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Hoang Nguyen

Over 30 years experience in the semiconductor industry from tape out to release product to mass production. Extensive experience in leading engineering teams with all aspects of NPI, Characterization, Test Programs, Manufacturing engineering & production sustaining. In his last position at Quantenna (later acquired by Onsemi) he led all NPI activities with all Wi-Fi based IoT client solution and access point such as RF, PMIC and base-band SoC devices for over 13 years. Hoang also worked with 3rd party foundries in managing process controls to ensure higher yields. Hoang holds a BSEE from the University of California, Berkeley.

Over 20 years of engineering and executive leadership experience, specializing in product development across semiconductors, software, networking, and AI. As SVP of Product & Program Management at RS, she led the cross-functional team to develop the FPGA/SoC devices. At Onsemi, she contributed to the Wi-Fi connectivity division, managing the Wi-Fi client chip program for IoT, automotive, and industrial markets, along with RF/Baseband chipset qualification and the successful deployment of Quantenna’s 10Gbps 802.11ac complex access point chipset. Zarin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

Over 30 years of experience in RF and 25+ years in managing highly skilled teams, including RF Application Engs and RFIC Design Engs. He has been involved in every stage of the IC product lifecycle and has held key roles at major companies and startups, including co‑founding Xceive and leading engineering efforts at Quantenna and Tarana Wireless. His work spans groundbreaking TV tuners, advanced MIMO Wi‑Fi access point chips, and cutting‑edge 5G/6G RFICs. He has built world‑class design teams and contributing to numerous patents, Didier holds an MSEE from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne.

Bill Isaacson has 30 years of experience in the design and customer support of advanced technology ASICs.  He is responsible for leading the Muse teams.  At eSilicon he held the position of Sr. Director of Field Applications Engineering, where his team was responsible for working with customers to define the target process technology, IP, contents, and engagement methodology of their ASICs. Previously Bill held the position of Design Center Manager at LSI Logic where he was responsible for the physical implementation of customer ASICs.  Mr. Isaacson holds a BSEE from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

Mike Andrews has 30 years of semiconductor industry experience. Mike was the first employee in IMEC's North America custom silicon business unit and served as its Business Development Manager for five years. During this time Mike was instrumental in expanding from the first customer to over $30M in sales annually. Mike has previously worked for Teradyne, eSilicon, AMI Semiconductor and National Semiconductor in sales, marketing, and project management positions. Mike obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Santa Clara University.
