David is one of the premier innovators of Silicon Valley who helped shift Silicon Valley from fab to fabless. David is a visionary innovator who invented two worldwide digital interface standards – High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) & Digital Visual Interface (DVI). Currently, David is Chairman & CEO of Scenera, a leader in protecting human safety, security and privacy while optimizing AI & IoT operations. Dr. Lee founded Silicon Image in 1995 and took the company public. David holds a BSEE, MSEE and a PhD from University of California, Berkeley.

CEO & President of GS Microelectronics (GSME) – Farhat is a visionary leader with over 28 years of pioneering expertise in the semiconductor industry. In 2022, he founded GSME, a cutting-edge company specializing in integrated circuit (IC) design and advanced manufacturing solutions, driving innovation in next-generation semiconductor technologies. Under his guidance, GSME is poised to redefine the future of IC design and manufacturing, leveraging Farhat’s unparalleled experience to deliver breakthrough solutions in the global semiconductor landscape.

Landmark Achievements:

Played a pivotal role at Quantenna Communications, where his leadership contributed to the company’s successful IPO in 2016 and its eventual $1.1 billion acquisition by ON Semiconductor (Onsemi) in 2019.

Served as General Manager and VP of Manufacturing at Onsemi, overseeing large-scale operations and a $2B revenue stream at the state-of-the-art 300mm EFK fabrication facility (formerly GF/IBM).
Education:
A highly respected industry expert, Farhat holds an MSEE from the University of Arkansas and was honored with induction into the prestigious Arkansas Academy of Electrical Engineering in 2020 as a testament to his profound impact on semiconductor innovation and leadership.

​Brad Paulsen has over 40 years of exceptional semiconductor business experience. He last served as Sr. Vice President of Business Development at TSMC. He played a pivotal role in developing TSMC’s new customer business lines from millions to billions of dollars. He helped companies like Qualcomm, Broadcom, Nvidia and many others from their inception to growth. Brad holds a BSEE from University of California, San Diego and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Simon Duxbury
Director
Simon has over 20 years of design & development experience covering digital, mix-signal, analog and RF products. He last worked at Onsemi as VP & GM of Quantenna Connectivity Division, where he was responsible for P&L of over $200M product line. Prior to Onsemi, Simon was SVP of Engineering at Quantenna Communications from its inception to IPO in 2016 later was sold to Onsemi in 2019. Simon holds a BSEE from Yale University and an MSEE from Stanford University.​​

Professor Ahmed has played a transformative role in Oman’s development across agriculture, education, and science. During his time as Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries and later a State Council member, he shaped national strategies that advanced economic and scientific progress in Oman. His leadership as founding Chancellor of the University of Nizwa helped establish research and academic excellence, supporting Oman’s vision for future technological innovation. Prof. Ahmed holds an M.Sc., and Ph.D from UC Berkely with a B.Sc. From North Carolina State.

Ameer is a senior executive in Oman’s sovereign investment ecosystem, currently serving as a Director at ITHCA Group. He oversees a $300 million portfolio spanning early-stage and growth technology investments, with a focus on venture capital, AI, IoT, digital infrastructure, and semiconductors. Ameer’s work bridges strategic investment execution with active asset management. He holds an MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge and a B.Sc. in Telecom. Engineering from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
